Recently, I've been developing a general fascination with history, but I specifically find late-20th century history to be especially interesting because of how close it is to the modern day. I'm also fascinated by the political climate of America in the early 20th century, and it's something I really hadn't known much about up until recently.

 

I'm sure you've noticed by now that my website is inspired by the aesthetic of old 1990s personal websites, and I made that design choice in part because of my recent fascination with digital media preservation. (I also just really like how lively and personalized the '90s Geocities aesthetic is -- websites today are too plain imho.)
